Righty-o!
It has indeed been quite a fair while since I last posted an update. Things have been quite busily unbusy as of late, leading to me having so much spare time that I haven't gotten much done. In the past week or two, I have forced myself to get back into the habit of working on intellectual stuff again.
New stuff:
First off, a while ago I suddenly realized that there was a total absence of active-inactive differentiation for verbs! :-o *facepalm* I quickly rectified that. Now, verbs are identified as active with the addition of the letter "Aya", and they are identified as inactive with the addition of the letter "Eta". Both of those letters are placed at the end of the helper verb.
I am also working on the alphabet. I've added a section about rare letters and their history. I'm also working on creating a system of words for each letter. In many real languages, the letters got their names from various tree, animals, etc. that existed in the real world. Thus, I am creating a system of those for the Kharn'Dhern alphabet. This is also a back-door way for me to add onto the vocabulary. :-D
In the process of working with the alphabet I am also adding some more onto the lexicon.
Stories!
I have recently written another flash story that I am working on for one of the official Port Yonder Press writing groups. Since I'm talking about PYP, I might as well also say that since my latest update I've been added to their staff. I'm now working with them as a marketing assistant.
The story, though. Back to the story. I've written it and am working on editing it. Once I finish the editing and (hopefully) get it published, I will put a link up here. Want to read it? Then you'll have to wait! :-D
